In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
FURLOTTE, David Alexander (Dave), Jr. - (AKA Dad, Gramps, SuperDave) Furlotte, 78, of Mount Uniacke Nova Scotia, died Sunday, November 23, 2025 in his sleep. He was born August 26, 1947 and was adopted soon after by Dave (1919-2007) and Lucy (Veinot) Furlotte (1917-2005). He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 7.5 years where he met his future wife of 55 years, Jan Davenport (married April 25, 1970).
Dave is survived by Jan and sons Tim (wife Holly Simmons, daughter Lucy) and Kirk (husband Ace Amor).
He spent much of his childhood in Fairview and soon developed a lifelong passion for motorcycles. Dave was known for many things including his love of off-roading, racing, Oreos, Werthers, and dogs.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 1 p.m. Atlantic Funeral Home at Oakridge Memorial Gardens in Middle Sackville. Donations in memory of Dave may be made to a charity of one's choice.
