STANTON, Frederick Paul - Surrounded by family, Paul Stanton of Sauble Beach passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 in his 76th year. Husband and lifelong sweetheart of Lynda. Proud father of Tara of Colpoy's Bay and Todd (Sonia) of Langley, B.C. Doting papa of Bronwyn, Aiden, Ethan and Myla. Also survived by his sister Evlynn (Bill Leeson) of Brantford, brother- in-law Robert Baker (Sharon) of Fayetteville, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul led a varied life, from his days in the Royal Canadian Navy travelling through the Panama Canal and to Easter Island, to working as an arena manager at the Owen Sound Arena, an overhead crane operator at Black Clauson-Kennedy, and a baker of delicious treats at Baker Bob's in Sauble Beach. He loved to chat with neighbours and friends and was always anxious to share stories about his kids and grandkids. The family is grateful to the staff at the Wiarton Hospital for their kindness and attention in his last days. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations to the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation in Paul's honour would be appreciated. (The Owen Sound Sun Times 15 Sep 2021)
