KIRK Forrest Wilfred - Second World War Veteran Canadian Navy - At Parkview Manor Chesley, on Wednesday, January 22, 2003, in his 84th year.
Beloved husband of Janet Orviss.
Dear father of Beth Megale, of B.C., Frederick and his wife, Grace, of Mississauga, Wendy and her husband, Yves Marchand, of Quebec, Richard, and his wife, Diane, of New Brunswick.
Predeceased by son, Alex, and a daughter, Marylou Cook. Survived by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Kirk, of Chesley, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a brother, Allen and his wife, Doris, of North Gower. Predeceased by brother, Edwin.
Mr. Kirk was a long time employee of B.A. Oil.
Visiting at McFadden funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25th, at 11:00 a.m., at Geneva Presbyterian Church, Chesley. Spring Interment, Chesley Cemetery. If so desired, donations to Parkview Manor, Alzheimer Society, or Geneva Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expression of sympathy. A Legion Memorial Service will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. (The Owen Sound Sun Times 24 Jan 2003)
