In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PIERCE, Murray Franklin - was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on January 2, 1920, and passed away April 29, 2010.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy Helen on July 30, 2003, he is survived by his children: Elizabeth (Fred) Allen, Calgary; Robert, Calgary; and Nancy (Gordon Borgstrom), Kamloops; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Murray was employed by CIBC in Calgary, and retired to Nanaimo in 1978 where he enjoyed gardening, fi shing, golf, curling and bridge. Murray served in the Canadian Navy in World War II. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. His burial will be held, Wednesday, May 5th, 11:00 AM, Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens and memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM at First Memorial, 1720 Bowen Road.
