Gary lived a short but fulfilling and successful life. Some may say rich with life’s experience. He joined the navy in 1975 and served as a stoker for 20 years. One deployment in the gulf he deployed along side his brother and best friend, Bobby. After retiring, he went back to school and became an electrician. He never half did anything.

One of his greatest treasures was his grandchildren. Whom he loved and cared for as if his own children. One of his favourite things was becoming “Poppy.”

A massive thank you goes to the amazing staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Especially Liam, Alex and Rhea. VON Nurse, Dave. Palliative Care Nurse, Dawn Ross and Doctor Patterson. Thank you to all the emerg nurses/doctors who have helped us since dad became ill.
