VERDOCH, Victor Michael - Born October 17, 1924 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With his family in attendance, Victor gained peace on April 15, 2000 at the Seven Oaks Home for the Aged, Scarborough, Ontario. Passionate Canadian and proud World War II Royal Canadian Navy veteran, Victor is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary, his children. Marie, Tim and his wife, Susan, his grandchildren, Randy, Ryan and Aaron and his siblings, Violet, Nadia, Jean and Donald. Victor is also survived by Mary's caring sister and husband, Dorothy and Joe Winter and their children. Mark and Troy. Victor is predeceased by his parents Michael and Lillian and his brother, George. The family will receive friends at the McEochnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Ontario (905-428-8488) on Monday, April 17 from 24 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 a.m.

 

Cremation will follow. A wake will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 322 Branch on Hunt Street in Ajax. Donations in Victor's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the staff at Seven Oaks for their care and compassionate support.
