LEMESSURIER, Gordon Henry, PO.MM, V32595, RCNVR,  died 13 Mar 1944, HMCS GIVENCHY - Born 12 Nov 1915, son of Herbert S. and Alice J. Lemessurier; husband of Phyllis Joyce Lemessurier, all of Vancouver, BC. He is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, BC.

 

Petty Officer Gordon Henry LeMessurier who died in Esquimalt Naval Hospital Esquimalt, British Columbia was buried with full naval honors. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert S. LeMessurier, 221 Grant of Vancouver. Petty Officer LeMessurier enlisted in 1942 and saw service on both the east and west coasts. Before entering the navy he was employed by Buckerfields Ltd. in Vancouver. He leaves, besides his parents, his wife Phyllis Joyce LeMessurier, Vancouver, British Columbia and sisters, Mrs. Peter Cumming of Milner. Services were conducted in St. James Church with Rev. John Furlong, R.C.N. Senior Chaplain Pacific Command assisting.
